The Herts Gardens Trust has organised two sessions with expert palaeography tutor Dr Heather Falvey for anyone who would like to learn how to read documents written in the 16th-18th centuries. The two sessions will cover different aspects of the subject. They will be at Woolmer Green Village Hall, a fortnight apart, on Thursday 24 October and Thursday 7 November from 10am to 12 noon. Numbers will be limited so that everyone can sit at a desk.

The charge will be £6 per session, payable at the start of each class. Handouts and reading suggestions will be emailed to participants and there will be the usual small charge for tea & coffee on the day.
